Electrician & Plumber in Mijas

Mijas is one of the largest municipalities in my coverage area, and one of the most varied: Mijas Costa spreads scattered villa and chalet urbanisations across Calahonda and La Cala de Mijas — very popular with British and northern European homeowners — while Mijas Pueblo sits inland, a traditional whitewashed village up in the hills. I know both sides well after years of working across the area.

In Calahonda and La Cala de Mijas, most callouts come from detached villas and chalets: consumer units for single homes, EV charger installation in private garages, leaks in gardens and irrigation systems connected to the mains, and larger-capacity water heaters for homes with several bathrooms. Because these urbanisations are spread out and often some distance from the centre, I make a point of resolving as much of the job as possible in a single visit.

In Mijas Pueblo, on the other hand, I more often work on older properties in the historic centre, where the wiring and plumbing usually need a full update, plus local shops and tourist accommodation that need fast turnarounds so they aren't out of action for long.

Given how spread out Mijas Costa is, response time matters — I plan my routes to cover the whole area, from Calahonda through to La Cala, with the same emergency callout I offer everywhere else on the Costa del Sol.
