Ojén is an inland village at the foot of the Sierra de las Nieves, just a few minutes from Marbella but with a completely different character: narrow, steep streets in the old town, a classic Andalusian white village, and a much quieter pace of life than on the coast. I work on both the traditional homes in the village centre and the residential urbanisations that have grown up around it in recent years, often for clients who have chosen Ojén precisely to get away from the coastal bustle while staying close to Marbella.

In Ojén's old town, electrical and plumbing installations tend to be older, and it's common to update consumer units that no longer meet current regulations, or replace ageing pipework in traditionally built Andalusian houses. In the urbanisations and villas on the outskirts, on the other hand, I work more with newer detached-house installations, garden irrigation systems and heating, since temperatures at this altitude drop lower in winter than on the coast.

Being an inland village with a close-knit community, many Ojén residents already know who they trust and value reliability and a job done properly above all else — a good number of my call-outs here come through recommendations from other villagers. I cover both scheduled work and emergencies, travelling directly from the Marbella area, with no call centres or middlemen.
